OfFhANd DiNnEr @ Al - DiAfAH, sRi PeTaLiNg

When mom wants to eat sumthin' from middle east for buka puasa (sunat rejab - Isra' mikraj) and since my sis tak penah datang lagi, so we went to Al-Diafah @ Seri Petaling for a dinner... this is ur 2nd time (last year we came to celebrate abah's bday - treat by me), But is the 1st time to my sis - Nurul... she was the most excited one...

The surrounding area is ordinary, that you don't expect to see a middle eastern restaurant in the middle of it all... but once you see it, you'd definitely look twice - standing out strong amidst plain colored shop-houses, this restaurant with huge arabic writing in yellow over dark marroon signboard is very eye-catching... At the ground floor is Royal Dates Market where they sell arabic sweets such as kurma apricot, raisin and many more... while the restaurant is in the first floor...

There's ample parking space in front of the shoplot with just a short walking distance... a lift can take you up to the restaurant if like me, you have a baby stroller, or you can just take the stairs...

The entrance...

The stairs...

Restaurant deco??? --- Is just gorgeous and wow!!!even the little corners of the left has items from the middle east... the paintings, ornaments in the glass casings, mirrors, and side tables spell middle east all over... osso nice vase and tea pot like Ali Baba Style, Canteek sangat ( 2 thumbs up!!!)

our lift door opens to the entrance of the restaurant..."WOW!!!" (Nurul said)...

3 of us (en. hubby, mE and lil baby Raes)

It was just awesome!!!What a nice place that they had change the whole shop to be... All the walls full with different kind of utensils, kitchenware and others... my lil baby Raes likes to look around probably becoz of the deco and light are too colorful... it attract him i guess...Raes looks comfy here due to restaurant ambiances compared to b4 went we had lunch at Chicken Rice Shop...

All of the dining table is full with this tea pot... It is something very unique and to pour the water you have to push the top tip down in order to be able to let the water flow out...When u sit in, u'll serve with cold plain water and arabic coffee for each person....

The menu which suits with the restaurant ambiances...

Looking at the menu, everythin' is yummy and lotsa choices...

waitin' 4 the food !!!

The foods??? --- Really delicious T_T, compared to Saba @ Cyberjaya for me... we ordered 5 mendy - mendy rice with lamb, 2-Al Diafah Rice with mendy chicken, 2- mendy rice... while me and abah tried another rice.. I ordered Kabsa rice with chicken n abah ordered Al Diafah rice with barbecued chicken... we osso ordered Madby lamb for en.hubby and abang...oppss for the appetizer we ordered Black Olives (mom favourite) but i was served last due to some miscomunication with the server... huhuhu al maklumlah ramai sangat org time nie (full house)...

The drinks??? --- most recommended was mixed fruit tea ordered by abang, for him n en.hubby.. sangat sedap... it comes in small tea pot with 2 cups and saucer..., while mom ordered arabic cocktail - combination of apple+lemon+mint (sedap jugak), and just a normal juice ordered by nurul and abah (mango juice and starfruit juice)... the juice a bit concentrated so we have to add up with plain water...for me and my lil niece Qaisara was hot choclate...
