sorry for the hiatus y'all... i've been busy with a bunch of things (lotsa work @ office and struggling with my master thesis... I've absolutely no time to blog or anythin' else... Alhamdulillah everything has been settled...

12 January 2012 - Lil R was 20-months-old, Alhamdullillah... so wut he has been up to?

He's very SMART boy...

He learned/memorized the alphabet, numbers and Alif ba ta... He correctly points to the alphabets & speak out alphabets correctly.... he likes to read them aloud on his own when he sees it on TV, magazine, clothes, and when we drive down the road he sees names of businesses, he'll spell out the name letters. etc ... I have to give all credit to the ipad 2 app's , interactive books & dvd's...

He has much much more vocabs!...
He loves to read books....
Running everywhere...
He likes to dance and headbanging when heard the music... his fav song was " Sky for the lighters" - Bruno mars , "Rain over me" - Pitbull feat Marc Anthony, "Give me everything"- Pitbull and " love you like love song" -Selena gomez...

Alhamdullilah we proud he knows that much and totally impressed...

And for the dinner, we had at Wadi Hana Islamic Trattoria, 3B curve Bangi... Malay Italian Food (Halal) & It was awesome... and it just in front of our house... Nyum nyum

I just found out about this machine -" My syiling machine" after have been notified by en. hubby... His knew about it from the bunting that hung around Jusco Bandar Utama...then i google the Jusco website and found that the machine is available in several Jusco store... the nearest from our houz was Jusco Cheras Selatan known as Jusco Balakong... incidentally en. hubby wants to meet his friend around there, then after that we went to Jusco Cheras Selatan to try the machine, since we had collect lotsa coins... The machine located at 1st floor, next to customer service counter... ...and what makes mE impressed was the speed of this machine count the coins...it just take a few minutes to calculate the value of the coins that we have inserted... senang & cepat dari tukar kat bank... then print out the receipt and redeem the amounts with jusco gift voucher...it's fast, easy & convenient... i loikee !

tranquil and cozy ~_~

Last weekend (Sunday), we went to Kemensah Waterfalls Park @ Hulu Langat with en. hubby's colleagues... Picnicking & relaxing in the heart of KL to soothe the nerves with sound of water running over the rocks ... Access to the park very easy, the park situated next to Zoo Negara... the road there was quite dangerous & adventure - the private road very narrow & slopes... There are few chalets up there... Abul (en. hubby's colleague) booked 2 chalets @ warisan rimba... The chalet has 1 double decker bed with 2 pillows + bolsters... There has a barbeque pits, toilets and 1 pool... Our xtvt was mandi-manda & BBQ... Barbecueing (lamb, chicken, siakap fish, sausages, garlic bread and potato + BBQ sauce & mushroom soup ~ courtesy of Abul's family) & potluck (meehon, choclate moist cake & drinks)... makan&mandi sampai puas... the water was cold and crystal clear... everyone was happy especially lil R & Rahim's kids (sampai terketar-ketar bermandian)... Nice place for friends and family outtings... it highly recommended to all...

Raes Zafran ~ 18-months-old

How's time flies...Alhamdulillah , today Lil R is 18 months and 4 days old ... He's a HEALTHY & ACTIVE lil boy ~ running anywhere :3 ... AND NOW I have to watch him closely so not to overlook, especially when in shopping malls & public area...(this was a horrible experience and the scariest thing ever to mE!... last 3 weeks, it was a busy Saturday at the mall (MidValley), mE & my mom were browsing around....Somehow lil R got lost in the shuffle...I never thought it would happen to mE, but it did! One minute he was right beside my mom, and the next minute he was gone!...Ya Allah syukur nothin' happens... ;) At about 2 minutes panic, one iranian woman ran to me and point towards the shoe store (next door), may be that woman saw my boy ran out from the boutique... apparently he went back to the shoe store we entered prior... Thank you Allah... After this experience, I'm afraid to get him down from his stroller esp. in public area... This was a true eye opener for me... Now I understand why some parents leash their kids, something I always swore I would never do, but I have to admit, the thought did cross my mind...SORRY cayang mama and for you too en. hubby a.k.a babah...i PROMISE this will not happen again...

SO, Lil R wut u have been up to (18 months) ???

He's a fast learner especially to things he shouldn't do...
He's independent and wants to feed himself...
He'll raise his two hands on his ears when heard azan & raise hands to recite doa after azan followed by "Ameen"...
He likes to watch wirid @ astro oasis and follow with his language esp. after azan maghrib...
He can sing few nursery rhyme song with right melody & words such as row,row your boat, twinkle little star, are you sleeping, bapaku pulang dari kota and ABC song...
Ipad & computer geek ~ he loves to spend time watching cartoons, nursery rhymes + dancing, & playing angry birds...
Mama's boy ~ he loves mama to carry her and accompany him to sleep...
Messy boy too ~ he likes to make a mess with his toys...
He likes to play peek-a-boo & football with babah ~can kick a ball forward...
Add more & more vocabs and can use three words e.g: " tak ta tau" (read: tak tahu), "kakak sawa" (read: kakak sara), "akel babah" (read: uncle babah - my brother), "pocoyo" (read: pocoyo), "banana" (read: banana)...
The most funniest part is anythin' in round shape he'll call a "ball" even it is not ( e.g: orange, tomato, onion etc)....

Cousin wedding @ Penang & lunchie @ Puncak Mutiara Cafe,BM

111111 ~ 9.00 pm we went to Penang to attend my cousin (Khairul Ikhwan) wedding on 121111 @ Sg. Nibong (mom's hometown)... we arrived at about 1.45 am @ Auntie Narol's bungalow, Solok Bukit Jambul... During the 3 days, we makan and makan al maklumlah balik kampung, so we pekena serabai & apom lenggeng Nana Majid, nasi dhal Sg. Ara, nasi lemak gulai udang & ikan tenggiri, nasi kandar pasar pagi... tuuu dia nallaa, baik punye!!!

131111~ otw back to KL we stopped @ Puncak Mutiara Cafe, Bukit Mertajam for lunch (dis place recommended by my Bro)... nice place and ambiance too! this place seems like Kampung Daun,Bandung but there where a barn (animal resort) for goat, rabbit, ostrich and chicken ... The food was awesome esp. the lamb ~ grill lamb layan habis + susu kambing!!! fried mushroom, siakap tiga rasa, sayur kacang+udang, tomyam semuanya sedap yummy! thanks Bro for the delicious lunch...

Thanks cayang for the cake & dinner AND many thanks to my entire family for their support throughout the years... ♥ you all

Recipe Bread Butter Puding with Lychee & Vanilla Sauce

Bahan- bahan:
~Puding roti~
3 cup roti (sandwich bread)
2/3 cup gula
1/3 cup butter
3 biji telur
2 cup fresh milk (any brand : HL/Dutch Lady or etc...)
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp essence vanilla.
Few lychee / raisin (potong & tabur bersama roti)

~Vanilla sauce~
250 ml whipped cream
200 ml fresh milk
1 tsp essence vanilla
1/3 cup gula

Cara-cara nya:-
~Puding roti~
Bahan A: Koyak/ Carikkan roti dan taburkan lychee/ raisin dalam loyang adunan
Bahan B: Pukul gula + telur + essence vanilla + cinnamon powder sampai kembang

Panaskan fresh milk atas api perlahan sampai nampak satu layer nipis kat atas (tapi jangan terlalu lama) then tutup api pastu masukkan butter kacau sampai cair. Kemudian masukkan bancuhan bahan B dan kacau rata. Tuangkan bancuhan tadi kedalam loyang Bahan A. Bakar dalam oven about 40-45 minit.

~Vanilla sauce~
Pukul whipped cream + fresh milk + essence vanilla + gula hingga kembang then panaskan seketika di atas api perlahan (tapi jangan terlalu lama ek nanti berminyak)

Raya datang lagi =)...

For this raya 2011, our color theme was pink & blue... it was 2nd raya for mE and en. hubby as mama & babah to our darling lil R and dis year was en. hubby's turn, so we celebrate raya @ Kg. Jeniang, Kedah... went back to kedah at about 12 am @ 26/08/11 after solat terawikh and salam raya with abah,mak & my lil sis and arrived at 5.50 am... alhamdulillah the journey was smooth although many cars at the highway... it was fun & happening raya together with in laws, nieces & nephews preparing lemang, rendang & laksa also at night playing fireworks with them (this was en. hubby's plan)... Lil R had fun playing with his cousins and the cats ;p ...

1st and 2nd raya : makan & makan like crazy @ tok wan, aunty, uncle & sis's house... all houz served pulut - lemang @ ketupat palas (traditional raya food for kedahans =) + rendang & daging... yum yum yummy!!!

love doing yoga poses (downward-facing position and put his little hands on the floor) , duplicated what mama & babah do during solat (sujud)... it SO adorable ;)

Raes Zafran, our little man is so cute walking around the house, shopping mall & everywhere... To date, he's a little more steady on his feet... He is so tiny and waddle around everywhere like he is king of the world....

Today, Lil R is 14 months old... Lovable, kissable, huggable, sweet baby boy... Every day is getting more and more fun with him... He laughs and giggles most of the day... AND after much practice + cruising, Lil R has decided that the best way to get around is by walking =p (about 2 weeks ago)... Go Raes!!! Now that he walking everywhere, so we are making sure that everything is baby proofed...

:: About Lil R ::

Milestones:

He's full on walking and getting faster every day...still a little unsteady at times but for the most part walking most of the day...
He's obsessed with bird and cat... all animals he called bird! so funny ;)...
He gives flying kiss after waving hands "bye"... it so cute =p
Loves when we read the ABC and Number book and he likes to watch ABC song in youtube...
He loves to wear a kopiah when heard azan esp. maghrib and said "Abbar" (read: Allahu Akbar) and put hands at his two ears, also said "amme" (amin) after recite doa... Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah CLEVER BOY anak mama! ;)

Feeding:

For breakfast he loves pancakes, scrambled eggs with sausage and cheese, tiger biscuits and butter fried rice (seldom)...Lunches are usually rice with fish, chicken and veggies... Dinner is still wutever we eat and more veggies and soup... now on, he starts drink a water using straw cup and he loves to drinks plain water rather than any juices... GOOD boy!

Naps and Nighttime Sleep:

Two naps a day... Usually around 10am - 11am for an hour and a half and then again at 2:30pm - 3:30pm for another hour and half...Bedtime is at 9:30pm and usually he wake ups around 6:30am, occasionally later than that... at about 7am - 7:30am... Still sleeping all night... and just wake up 2 times normally at 1:30am - 2:00am and 6:20am for a milk...
